Biography

Dr. Prashant Kumar is an Associate Professor, Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering, COER University, Roorkee. He did his Master of Technology from NITTTR, Chandigarh and his Doctorate from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan. In his 16 years of teaching and research duration, he has published 15 research papers, including high reputed International journals, International conferences. He has 8 design grants, ten patents published, and two copyright grants on his account. He also has experience in organizing short-term training programs, symposiums and workshops. His research area includes Energy Storage, Demand Side Management, Electric Vehicle Integration, Integration of Distributed Energy Resources, and Smart Grid.
