Placement Process

Here is an elaborated description of the placement process at COER University
Student Registration:

At the beginning of the placement season, students who are eligible and interested in participating in the campus placement process must register with the Training and Placement department. This involves providing personal details, academic information, and any other relevant data that companies might require during recruitment

Company Invitations

The Training and Placement department contacts various companies and organizations, inviting them to participate in the campus placement process. The department shares relevant information about the university, available talent pool, and placement statistics to attract companies.

Company Contact and Job Description Submission

Interested companies respond to the invitation by contacting the Training and Placement department. They submit job descriptions that outline the job profiles, required qualifications, skills, and any other pertinent information. This helps in setting expectations for both students and recruiters.

Announcement of Job Offers

The Training and Placement department compiles a list of job offers based on the job descriptions submitted by the companies. This information is then shared with the registered students through various channels such as email, online portals, or notice boards.

Company Registration by Students

After reviewing the available job offers, students register for the specific companies they are interested in. This step allows the Training and Placement department to maintain a record of which students are participating in which company's recruitment process.

Eligibility Screening and Notification

The Training and Placement department reviews the academic records and other eligibility criteria of registered students. A list of eligible students for each company is prepared and shared with the companies for further evaluation.

Slot Allotment

The Training and Placement department assigns time slots for each company based on their availability and the university's schedule. This ensures a smooth flow of the placement process and avoids conflicts among different companies' recruitment activities.

Placement Process (Written Exam, Group Discussion, Interview)

The companies conduct their respective recruitment processes based on the allotted time slots. This can include a combination of written exams, group discussions, technical interviews, and HR interviews, depending on the company's requirements. The Training and Placement department assists in coordinating these activities.

Result Announcement

Once the recruitment process is completed, companies announce the results, indicating the students who have been selected for the job offers. The results are typically communicated to the students through the Training and Placement department, along with any additional information regarding further steps such as offer letters, joining dates, etc.

Post-Offer Support

After job offers are extended and accepted, the Training and Placement department at COER University provides comprehensive post-offer support to ensure a smooth transition from campus to career. This includes guidance on offer letter understanding, assistance with joining formalities, relocation advice, and onboarding preparation. The department also helps resolve any queries related to company policies, benefits, and other job-related concerns. This continuous support ensures that students are well-informed and comfortable as they begin their professional journeys.
