Biography

Mr. B. D. Patel is Associate Professor in EEE Department and Incharge of Centre of Excellence in Advanced Industrial Automation Technologies at COER University, Roorkee. With over 25 years of teaching experience, he has published/Filed 14 patents and guided the filing of 42 patents for his university. His research spans IoT, Embedded Systems, signal processing, industrial automation and machine learning,. He actively leads the university’s IPR cell, evaluates patent applications and mentors innovation-driven projects. Mr. Patel has published in reputed journals and conferences and is a recognized expert in compressive sensing, smart manufacturing technologies and computer vision. He is also an acclaimed academic leader and recipient of several teaching and innovation awards.
