Biography

Prof. (Dr). Chinnaiyan Ramasubramanian is working as Pro-Vice Chancellor ( Academics & Research ) in COER University , Roorkee Tehsil , Haridwar District in State of Uttarakhand – INDIA. He has 25+ years of Teaching and 20+ Years of Research Experience in reputed Universities and Affiliated Engineering Colleges in India.

As a passionate educationist, Prof. (Dr).Chinnaiyan Ramasubramanian currently doing his Post Doc in Computer Science and Engineering at Lincoln University College , Malaysia from October 2025. Prof. (Dr).Chinnaiyan Ramasubramanian holds two Ph.D Degrees both in Computer Science and Engineering and Computer Science. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from ANNA UNIVERSITY, Chennai on “Investigations on Reliability Evaluation of Component Based Software Systems” (August 2012). He completed his Second Doctorate in Computer Science and Engineering from Jain University, Bangalore – Karnataka on “Optimized Machine Learning Classification Approaches for Early Diagnosis and Prediction of Fetal Abnormalities” (February 2024).

He completed his Post-Graduation from Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu and Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from PRIST University. Under his guidance 5 research scholars completed their Ph.D and 5 submitted thesis. Dr. Chinnaiyan Ramasubramanian has published more that 189+ research papers in reputed International Journals and Conferences and has been granted 3 patents from India and the UK. He is invited as keynote speaker at FICTA2023 , Cardiff Metropolitan University, Cardiff, UK. He is an active participant of reputed International Conferences and so far, travelled to the United Kingdom, Singapore, Thailand for presenting his research works in areas of Software Reliability , Machine Learning , Deep Learning , Internet of Things, Blockchain and Security for Health Care and Agriculture.

He is having academic and research collaboration with renewed universities namely Cardiff Metropolitan University-Cardiff -UK, Univeristy of Cambridge-UK, University of Portsmouth-UK, Angila Ruskin University – UK , AIT-Thailand , SIAM University-Bangkok, NUS-Singapore and NTU-Singapore , Adama Univerity – Ethiopia , University of Applied Science and Technology-Sohar, Oman , Central University of Technology-South Africa.

Prof.Chinnaiyan Ramasubramanian’s research interests are in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Internet of Things, Software Reliability, Internet of Things, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks, Security and Blockchain. He is on the reviewer boards of reputed Journals IJQRM, Springer Nature, Elsevier Journals and IEEE Conferences. He is a Member of various Professional Societies namely Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE) , Computer Society of India (CSI) , ACM and Senior Member in IEEE.

Dr.Chinnaiyan Ramasubramanian is having vast exposure in Teaching, Research , Administration ,Industry Academia Relations ,Consultancy, Innovations, Curriculum and Entrepreneurship Development with the focus for preparing students as per industry needs with latest tools and technologies.
