Biography
Dr. Deep Gupta is an accomplished researcher with expertise spanning environmental engineering, microbiology, biotechnology, and management. With over twenty years of experience in research and teaching, she has contributed significantly to various fields including environmental impact assessment, carbon sequestration, sustainable buildings, and agriculture meteorology. Dr. Gupta has supervised several Ph.D. students and has a prolific publication record, including numerous research papers and book chapters.
She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Gurukul Kangri University and has received accolades such as the International Distinguished Researcher Award and Teacher of the Year award. Additionally, she has secured patents for innovative solutions in waste management and construction techniques. Dr. Gupta's research has focused on topics ranging from heavy metal biosorption to sustainable wastewater treatment using microalgae. Her work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches and draws from ancient Indian scriptures to address contemporary environmental challenges. Dr. Gupta is an active member of professional organizations and has delivered expert lectures and presentations globally.
