Biography

He received the B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. degree in 2008, 2012 and 2019 respectively. His Ph.D. research work is related to the optimal planning of radial distribution systems. At undergraduate level he taught various subjects like Basic Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Network Analysis and Smart grid etc. He has published more than 20 research articles in various reputed international journals and conferences.

He is presently working as Assistant Professor & Head of the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, COER University, Roorkee. Currently he is guiding 1 Ph.D. research scholar and 02 M.Tech students. His research interests include power systems, power system restructuring, transfer capability assessment, congestion management, demand-side management, DG integration, reactive power management, ancillary services, transmission and distribution pricing and application of AI in power systems.
