From Classroom to Laboratory - Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Practice: Shaping the Future Through Collaborative Research and Cutting-Edge Technology in Allied Sciences.
Laboratories play a vital role in education and research, offering hands-on experience, fostering innovation, and enabling the practical application of theoretical knowledge. They are essential for conducting experiments, developing new technologies, and facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration, thereby advancing science and technology.
Physics Lab for Diploma & UG Students
This lab is equipped with sophisticated instruments like He-Ne laser, Hall effect setup, four probe setup, spectrometer, etc., along with instruments to perform the experiment prescribed for diploma and undergraduate level students.
These experiments are from solid-state physics, semiconductor physics, optics, mechanics, electricity-magnetism, and modern physics.
Physics lab for PG Students
Here we have developed the facilities for preparing Nano-particles and thin film to pursue the research in the area of material synthesis. The lab is equipped with various instruments for testing the mechanical properties of the synthesized thin film.
Digital thickness gauge meter, tearing strength tester, universal testing machine, and DART impact tester are some available facilities that can be used for measuring thickness, tearing strength, tensile strength, and impact bearing strength of prepared thin films.
Polymer and Plastic Research (PPR) Lab
Here we have focused on developing advanced materials with enhanced properties. We aim to manufacture polymers that are more resilient, recyclable, and eco-friendly by investigating novel polymerization methods and sustainable raw materials.
To innovate in fields like bio-plastics and smart polymers, our interdisciplinary team works with industrial partners. This work paves the way for a more sustainable future in material science by addressing important environmental issues while simultaneously advancing scientific understanding.
Communication Skill Lab
The Communication Lab at our university is dedicated to enhancing communication through innovative inquiry and practical application. Our diverse areas of focus encompass public relations, digital media, and interpersonal communication. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, we support a wide range of projects—from investigating the impact of social media on public discourse to developing effective communication strategies for various economic sectors. Effective communication is a key differentiator in the job market.
The lab offers a dynamic and interactive environment where students can hone their verbal and non-verbal communication skills, engage in public speaking exercises, and participate in group discussions and role-playing activities. This hands-on approach helps students to overcome language barriers, boost their confidence, and improve their articulation and presentation skills. Furthermore, it fosters critical thinking, active listening, and empathy, which are vital for collaborative work and leadership roles. By integrating these skills into their academic journey, COER University ensures that its students are not only technically proficient but also adapt to conveying ideas clearly and persuasively, making them more effective and competitive in their respective fields.
Numerical Techniques & Simulation (NTS) Lab
The Numerical Techniques Lab focuses on developing and implementing numerical techniques to address challenging issues in engineering and science. The development of algorithms, numerical analysis, and simulation techniques are the main areas of the investigation. We address problems in structural analysis, fluid dynamics, optimization, and other fields by using state-of-the-art software (like R, MATLAB, PYTHON) and high-performance computer resources. By improving the accuracy and efficiency of numerical methods, our work contributes to innovations across various disciplines, driving progress in both theoretical and applied research.
Chemistry Lab for Diploma/UG Students
The chemistry lab is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments to support diverse analytical and experimental procedures. It includes a UV-VIS spectrophotometer for precise absorbance measurements, a turbidimeter for assessing water clarity, and a double distillation assembly for high-purity solvent preparation.
The lab also features a Redwood viscometer for viscosity analysis, a pH meter for accurate pH measurements, and a hot plate with a magnetic stirrer for controlled heating and mixing.
