These specialised physiotherapists provide evidence-based advice on safe participation in sport and exercise. Sports Physiotherapy is the specialist physiotherapy branch that deals with sports people's injuries and issues. Sports physiotherapists are involved in the prevention and management of injuries resulting from the sport. A sportsperson is required lots of intensive physical activities which sometimes leads to wear and tear in the muscles, joints and bones.
Sports physiotherapists are helping athletes recover from sports injuries by offering support and services to reduce complications. Typically, every sports physiotherapist has the sport-specific experience that treats acute, chronic, and overuse injury.
