Biography

Dr Gunjan Agarwal has done her B. Tech and M.Tech (Mechanical Engineering, Major Design and Production Engineering) from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar in 1991 and 1994 respectively. She has completed her PhD (Mechanical Engineering) from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun in 2018. Dr Gunjan joined College of Engineering Roorkee in 1999 and presently working as Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department there .She has actively involved in  establishment of  several Mechanical Engineering laboratories like Workshop Practice, Manufacturing  Science  lab. She has 24 years of teaching experience. Time to time she holds several administrative position like lab officer in charge, girls hostel warden, department head etc. She taught several courses like workshop practice, Manufacturing Science, Computer Aided Manufacturing, Project management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Graphics and environmental Studies etc.

She delivered lectures on topic Precision Fabrication, Environmental aspects in Machining and other topics related to production engineering at different organisation under staff training program.. She attended several faculty development program in and outside campus including ATAL FDP. She was the active member of organizing committee for organizing various conferences and workshops.
